Our Core Values:

  1. We Value the Grace of God
  2. We believe people cannot earn Gods acceptance, but by His loving grace are freely accepted through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. The church, therefore, should never employ guilt or legalism to manipulate its members, but should encourage them to live godly, productive lives motivated solely by their love for God.

  3. We Value the Great Commandment
  4. We believe in Jesus command that we are to love God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength, and to love others in the same way that we love ourselves. We are convinced that personal devotion to God is the source for all fruitful living and faithful ministry. Intimacy with Jesus Christ comes as one embraces Gods grace and cultivates a vital relationship with Jesus through prayer, worship, Bible study, willing surrender, obedience, and enduring faith.

  5. We Value the Great Commission.
  6. We believe people matter to God, and ought to matter to the church. Jesus mandate requires us to touch the unreached, as we learn to value the worth of all people. We must give ourselves sacrificially to the task of evangelism, beginning with our family and friends and then reaching out to a needy world.

  7. We Value Worship.
  8. We are committed to a full-hearted and expressive worship of God. And while we joyfully celebrate Jesus presence in our gatherings, we believe worship is ultimately expressed through a life-style of obedience and submission to God.

  9. We Value the Ministry of the Holy Spirit.
  10. We believe in the essential need for the Spirits empowering presence in the life of the believer and the ministry of the church. We welcome and encourage the sane, sensible, and Scriptural exercise of spiritual gifts.

  11. We Value Biblical Authority.
  12. We believe the Bible is the only authoritative guide for our lives, and should always take priority over any church tradition or human opinion. We aim to make the Bibles teachings relevant, applicable, interesting, sound, and Christ-centered.

  13. We Value Prayer.
  14. We believe in the practice of continual prayer, both personally and corporately. Because we believe in the power of God, we believe prayer can prompt the supernatural intervention of God in the affairs of mankind.

  15. We Value Authenticity and Balance.
  16. We believe a Christ-centered life is best manifested through ordinary people who are genuine, transparent and non-judgmental, and whose lives reflect integrity and balance.

  17. We Value Relationship and Friendship.
  18. We believe that healthy and loving relationships are indispensable to well-rounded spiritual formation and growth. So, through church life and CARE group ministries, we purpose to create the kind of friendly, supportive environment where believers can learn to love, accept, serve, and encourage one another in proactive, practical ways.

  19. We Value Family.
  20. We affirm that every believer (including children and young adults!) is a member of Gods family and deserves the best care and Christian training we can offer.

  21. We Value Servant Ministry.
  22. We believe every believer is a minister and that all members share the responsibility for the work of ministry. We insist that leaders make developing a servants heart their top priority.

We purposely advocate a style of ministry, leadership and decision-making that is
participatory and team-based.
