Our Mission Statement
The mission of Newlife Food Bank is to transform lives from hungry to healthy by providing essential groceries to those in the Greater Pomona Valley and beyond. Access to nutritious food is urgent: over 20% of residents and 24% of children live below the Federal Poverty Line (U.S. Census Bureau, 2023). The Food Bank addresses this need consistently, supporting families, seniors, and children, strengthening the broader community’s capacity for resilience.

For over 20 years, Newlife Food Bank has served families in need by offering efficient and accessible resources to those struggling to put food on their tables throughout the Greater Pomona Valley.
Every week we distribute thousands of pounds of groceries & essential items to over 800 families.

Important Information:
Drive-thru & Walk Up
Food Bank is walk up or drive-thru only. We’re constantly monitoring our safety procedures to help keep you safe.
Our walk up food bank is available on Thursday afternoons from 2:30-5pm. Drive-thru service takes place Fridays from 10:30am-3pm.
*Due to difficulties, the Food Bank will be closed when it rains and during excessive heat.

Food Donations can be dropped off Thursdays from 10am - 2pm (Food Donations must be non-perishable and sealed. Cannot exceed 90 days past expiration.)

Volunteer Requirements:
Minimum age: 15 (under 18 must have parental signature). Must not have any health concerns with back, knees, prolonged standing and bending. Must wear closed-toed shoes and work appropriate attire. Traffic vests will be provided. Waiver must be signed prior to volunteering.
Currently there are three volunteer shifts for FRIDAYS
(please specify which shift you’re interested in)
Shift 1: 9am-12:30pm
Shift 2: 11:30am-3pm (Extra help needed)
Shift 3: 2:30pm-4:30pm (tear down crew)
