For over 20 years, Newlife Pomona Food Bank has served families in need by offering efficient and accessible resources to those struggling to put food on their tables throughout the Greater Pomona Valley.
Every week we distribute about 40,000 pounds of groceries & essential items to nearly 1,000 families.

OUR FOOD BANK BUILDING IS COMPLETE!
In January 2025, we broke ground on our permanent facility which was completed in July 2025– a monumental step forward that will further expand our capacity to serve our community.

Public Food Bank Hours
Fridays | 10:30am – 3pm
Closed on 11/7, 11/28, 12/26, 1/2
(usually the first Friday of the month, holidays & when it rains)
Thursdays | 4:30pm – 5:30pm
Closed on 11/6, 11/27, 12/25, 1/1

Want to donate? Drop off Toys (unwrapped) on Thursdays, 9am through 1pm. OR donate money towards purchasing toys here.

Important Information:
Drive-thru & Walk Up
Food Bank is drive-thru or walk up only. We’re constantly monitoring our safety procedures to help keep you safe.
Starting November 13th, our walk up food bank will only be available on Thursday afternoons. Drive-thru service will continue on Fridays.
*Due to difficulties, the Food Bank will be closed when it rains.

Food Donations can be dropped off Thursdays from 10am - 2pm (Food Donations must be non-perishable and sealed. Cannot exceed 90 days past expiration.)

Volunteer Requirements:
Minimum age: 12, (under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian) Must not have any health concerns with back, knees, prolonged standing and bending. Must wear closed-toed shoes. Traffic vests are provided.
Currently there are three volunteer shifts for FRIDAYS
(please specify which shift you’re interested in)
Shift 1: 9am-12:30pm
Shift 2: 11:30am-3pm (Extra help needed)
Shift 3: 2:30pm-4:30pm (tear down crew)
