Become a part of our prayer team during Sunday services and special events, and watch God move through you as you pray for others.
Prayer training and pastoral approval is needed to participate.

We meet on the first Monday of every month in the main sanctuary at 6:30pm.

INNER HEALING PRAYER
Prayer appointments are available for Newlife church members who want deeper emotional and spiritual healing. Trained church teams lead the sessions which usually last 90 to 120 minutes.

MINISTRY OF LISTENING
Listening Ministry is an on-going, one-to-one informal ministry in which a trained Listening Minister (lay caregiver) sits with a person struggling with a life issue or a tough season in life. A Listening Ministry is an act of care, discernment and love, modeled by Christ and commanded in Scripture. It is not counseling and isn’t solution based but does meet for a predefined number of times and is then evaluated if more sessions are mutually agreed to.

HEALING ROOMS
Healing Rooms are held on Thursday evenings from 6-8pm when Life Groups are not in progress. Someone seeking prayer will walk into the lobby of the church where they will be greeted and given an intake form. Complete the form and give it back to the ministry coordinator. When it is you turn to receive prayer, you will be taken into a room and greeted by a team of about three prayer team members to receive a 20-minute prayer session.
These prayer times are entirely confidential. They are not a substitute for counseling, therapy, or our Life Groups. We welcome you to Newlife’s Healing Rooms!
